Household Expenditure on Telephone Services
5.44 The Expenditure and Food Survey (EFS) for 2003/04 - 2005/06 shows that households in the South West spend £9.90 a week on telephone and telefax services (2.2% of a total household expenditure of £446.20 per week), this is a slight decrease in terms of percentage on the previous years figures but is slightly lower than the England average of £10.60 (2.3% of the national average weekly expenditure of £460.30 - including all categories recorded in the EFS).
