The above inflation report was published by the Bank of England in August 2008, under the guidance of the members of the Monetary Policy Committee.
Regional Index of Sustainable Economic Well-Being
A consortium of Regional Development Agencies, led by that for the East Midlands, have commissioned the New Economics Foundation (NEF) to construct an adjusted economic measure of GDP. The above report describes the development and application of a Regional Index of Sustainable Economic Well-Being (R-ISEW), and calculates it for all English regions. Previously, a draft copy was available on the website but the latest report is the final version.
SW Labour Market - Recession
This report, written by the Economics and Evidence team of the South West Regional Development Agency, looks at the impact of the current economic slowdown on the region's labour market.
Credit Crunch and the Property Market
Since July 2007, GLA Economics has been monitoring the impact of the credit crunch on the London Economy. In May 2008, it published a report assessing the impact of the credit crunch on the London property market, with a specific focus on investment, development and occupational markets. Whilst this specific report looks at the property market in London, it may provide some insight into how the credit crunch may affect the market in other areas. The above inflation report was published by the Bank of England in May 2008, following the the CPI measure of inflation reaching 3%.
Regional and sub-Regional GDHI estimates - 2006
The latest release from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) includes new Gross Disposable Household Income data for 2006 and revisions to earlier years. Between 2005 and 2006, South West GDHI grew by 3.5% to £70,061m, with only the North West and the Greater South East (London, the South East and the East of England) exceeding this amount.

GVA Data Release - December 2007
