Migration

The Census is the most detailed source of information on migrants and migration patterns. This page provides links to all datasets that are available on the web. All published tables are available for all geographies on CD from Census Customer Services.

Key Statistics and univariate tables provide a simple count of migrants. These sources provide data for output areas upwards.

Standard tables provide more detailed information by comparing migration with one or more other census variables. The standard tables are available for local authority areas upwards. Less detailed versions of these tables are available for output areas and wards through Census Area Statistics.
