South West Cultural Sector Research Group:  
Convened by Culture South West as the region's strategic cross-cultural sector group with responsibility for developing and coordinating the cultural sector research programme.  
 
Culture South West Commissioned Research:  
A number of research reports commissioned to enhance the region's evidence base on key issues of interest to the cultural sector and decision-makers e.g. culture and demographic ageing, creative industries, spatial planning.  
 
Finding the Dots:  
A quarterly e-bulletin of recently published cultural sector research, commentaries and consultation papers. Available to download from: Culture South West e-bulletin or alternatively from the Culture Newsletters page.  
 
Creative Britain - New Talents for the New Economy 
Creative Britain: New Talents for a New Economy is a strategy document for the Creative Industries. Led by the DCMS, in partnership with BERR and DIUS, it documents 26 commitments, which outline how the Government will take action to support the creative industries. Arts audiences: insight 
The Arts audiences: insight report provides a summary of the segmentation findings, which aim to provide insights into how and why different kinds of people engage with the arts in England. It looks at patterns of arts consumption and attitudes towards the arts, how people spend their leisure time and what competes with the arts for people's attention. It also considers socio-demographic factors, media consumption and lifestyles. 
 
The Arts audience insight webpage also contains info about the research, what is segmentation, why they did it, how they did it and what's new about the research. More information about the research, including detailed analysis of the 13 segments, a technical report will be published online soon.
