Future Skills Seminar

Add Future Skills to Favourites
Cress South West

Delegates convened in Bristol for the fourth and final policy seminar focusing on Skills. This event was hosted by the West of England Partnership and held at the Government Office for the South West.

The seminar highlighted what occupations and sectors have traditionally been prominent in the region and drew out what our strengths are and where our skills gaps might be. It also looked at how this is changing in the post-recession economy and considered what new skills we might need to develop. Finally it asked how do we keep our skilled young people in the region and what can be done to plan for a sustainable future.
