The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has exceeded its 2011-12 target for housing completions, delivering on its key programmes and making a significant contribution to government aspirations to deliver up to 170,000 new affordable homes by 2015.
The government’s national housing and regeneration body today published its latest set of official six-monthly statistics in relation to housing starts and completions delivered through its National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP), Affordable Homes Programme (AHP), Kickstart Housing Delivery Programme, the Local Authority New Build Programme (LANB), the Accelerated Land Disposal Programme (ALD), the Economic Assets Programme (EAP), FirstBuy, Mortgage Rescue, and the Property & Regeneration (P&R) Programme.
The top line figures,
published here in detail, show that the Agency exceeded its key outputs for 2011-12, achieving a total of 59,451 housing completions in England against a target of 41,000, and 19,967 housing starts on site, in the financial year ending 31 March 2012.
