What's New Core Unit

STATE OF THE SOUTH WEST 2010 / SWO ANNUAL CONFERENCE - The next edition of the State of the South West, comprising contributions from around the SWO network, is in the final stages of production. The State of the South West 2010 will be published to coincide with the Annual Conference, taking place in Bath on Wednesday 31st March, and delegates will each receive a free copy. SWO SEMINAR SERIES - The SWO Winter Seminar Series (2009-10) has now ended. You can access interactive slides, PDF downloads and useful links relating to all four themed events. To access these, please click Demography, Land & Food, Energy or Future Skills for information relating to individual events.

SWO WINTER NEWSLETTER - You can now access and download the first in a series of PDF newsletters produced by the Core Unit which detail work and activity going on in the network. For more information on this, please click here.

LOCAL ECONOMIC ASSESSMENTS - For all the latest information and guidance available on Local Economic Assessments in the South West and nationally, please see the LEA section of the website by clicking here. THE ASSOCIATION OF REGIONAL OBSERVATORIES - The South West Observatory has recently taken over as the host organisation for the co-ordinator of ARO. ASSOCIATION OF REGIONAL OBSERVATORIES - At the end of January ARO held a network day to look at the Environmental Limits on Returning to Economic Growth.
